Centre Pompidou
Opened to the public on the 2nd February 1977, the Centre Pompidou rapidly became one of the most popular cultural venues in the world and one of the most visited monuments in France. The Centre Pompidou today, welcomes over 3.5 million visitors a year and plays host to the most inspiring modern and contemporary art exhibitions and collections.
Absolute Products in action
Whilst in Paris, for SITEM 2020, we managed to squeeze in a quick visit to the Centre Pompidou. Whilst exploring the various exhibitions we were delighted to see our Surface Mounted Barrier in place, discreetly protecting many fantastic and valuable works of art.
The Surface Mounted Barrier
Our Surface Mounted Barrier features many characteristics of our Freestanding Barrier in terms of its clean, unobtrusive design, and in conjection with our Elasticated Cord creates a boundary that blends with the architecture of the space. However, as the barrier is fixed to the floor surface its more robust and due to the smaller base offers a higher level of discretion.
